Besides his parents he is survived by one brother, Shirley Carr, of Franklin and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John A. Carr of Walters.* Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon January 5, at 4 o'clock at Mt. Carmel Christian Church by Rev. Fred Wright. Interment was in the Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Jimmie Bradshaw, Beale Stephens, Cecil Redd and Lonnie Carr, Jr. Robert Edward CARR, son of Bonnie H. and Irma* L. (CARR) CARR, of Franklin, d. 3 Jan 1946, Franklin, age 19 months, interred in Mount Carmel Christian Church Cemetery*, Walters, 5 Jan 1946, "The Tidewater News" (Franklin, VA), June 27, 1946, p. 4 *The cemetery list has his mother's name spelled Irma. Robert was also survived by his paternal grandfather Samuel B. CARR; his parents and both sets of grandparents are also buried there.
