Joseph McTeer. Burial was in Colosse Cemetery. The body was taken from W.J.M. Holland & Sons Funeral Home, Franklin to the church at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Pallbearers were Robert Ellis, Frank Vaughan, Lloyd Duck, Dr. C.C. Crossland, James T. Carr, Grafton Spivey, Grayson Allen and Jett G. Rhodes. Mrs. Carr, 82, died Saturday night in Southampton Memorial Hospital, Franklin. She was the widow of Thomas H. Carr and a daughter of John and Mrs. Parthenia Spivey Coggins. She was a member of Colosse Baptist Church, its Women’s Missionary Union and Adult Bible Class. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. J. Lonnie Carr and Mrs. Rawlston Rhodes of Carrsville, and Mrs. Joseph E. Daughtrey of Chesapeake; two grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Nora Rebecca "Becky" (COGGIN; Thomas H.)
