Carr Jr. ZUNI - Thomas Matthew Carr Jr., 63, died Saturday at a Suffolk Hospital. He was an elder of the Bethany Presbyterian Church of Zuni. He was the owner of Carr's Truckline and had been there for 45 years. He was a native of [Isle of] Wight County. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Gladys Joyner Carr of Zuni; two brothers, Frederick G. and Lawrence B. Carr of Zuni and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. in the Purviance Funeral Chapel, Wakefield. Rev. Ernest Pettis will officiate. Burial will be in the Antioch Church Cemetery. The family asked memorials be made to the Zuni Presbyterian Training Center or any charity.
