Rites Today For Carpenter Infant 

  SMITHFIELD, August 1. - Funeral services for David Lee Carpenter, infant son 
of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest C. Carpenter, of near Smithfield, who died at a Suffolk 
hospital Monday night, will be conducted at the grave side in the family 
burial ground near Walters, today at 4 p.m. 

  The funeral procession will leave Bullock Funeral Home at 3 p.m. 

  Besides his parents he is survived by two sisters, three brothers, and his 
maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. M.F. Duck, of Walters.

   the 1950 Census - Hardy Dist., Isle of Wight Co. - on Rt. 646.  They are 
   buried in Newman Memorial Cemetery, Oakland Christian Church, Chuckatuck. 

His parents are buried in Holly Lawn Cemetery, Suffolk.
