LOUISE BATTEN CROCKER 

MRS. L.B. CROCKER BURIED RECENTLY 

  Mrs. Louise Batten Crocker, age 48, died after a brief illness last Sunday 
morning at 8:20 at her home near Central Hill.  She is survived by her 
husband, Martin Crocker; one son Milton Lee; 3 sisters, Mrs. M.S. Powell, Mrs. 
Ruth Streml and Mrs. Pauline Williams.  Remains were taken from Roberts & 
Johnson Funeral Home Tuesday at 2 p.m.  Services were conducted at Whitehead's 
Grove Baptist Church at 2:30 by Rev. Sam Crawford, Baptist pastor of Isle of 
Wight charge.  Burial was in the church cemetery.

b. 21 Aug 1896, Isle of Wight Co., 
d. 15 Oct 1944, at home, near Central Hill, 
interred in Whitehead's Grove Baptist Church Cemetery*, 17 Oct 1944,

*Her husband shares a marker with their son Milton.  Her parents are buried
