Crocker Rites Set For Today 

  SMITHFIELD - Funeral services for Pennie Robertson Crocker will be conducted 
today at 3 p.m. in Bullock Funeral Home by the Rev. James E. Hodges, pastor of 
Bethany Methodist Church, and the Rev. Fred B. Wyand, pastor of Trinity 
Methodist Church, Smithfield.  Burial will be in Mill Swamp Baptist Church 
Cemetery, Isle of Wight County. 

  Mr. Crocker, 81, died in his home Friday afternoon after a long illness. 
He was a retired farmer and lifelong resident of Isle of Wight County and a 
member of Mill Swamp Baptist Church. 

  He was a son of Henry and Mrs. Louise Nelms Crocker. 

  Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Alice Clark Crocker; three daughters, Mrs. 
Virginia C. Mountjoy of Smithfield and Mrs. Sallie Chandler and Mrs. Dorothy 
C. Hamilton of Newport News; two sons, William P. Crocker and Samuel R. 
Crocker of Smithfield and four grandchildren.
