He was born January 23, 1874. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Rosa* Crocker, eight* children, Emanuel and Joel of Richmond, Marvin and Morris Crocker, Mrs. Rosa May English, Mrs. Hilda Hatfield and Mrs. Dorothy Underwood, of Isle of Wight and 13 grandchildren. Funeral service were held Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at Central Hill Baptist Church and burial was in the church cemetery.
