REV. G. C. CRUTCHFIELD DIES 

  COLLOSSE-WALTERS - It is with great sorrow that the people of Colosse 
church acknowledge the sudden passing of the Rev. G.C. Crutchfield at the 
Mount Carmel Christian Church, on February 27.  The church has lost a noble 
dedicated voice and we have lost a true friend and brother.

pastor of Antioch & Mt. Carmel Christian Churches, 
b. 12 Jul 1899, Guilford Co., NC, 
d. 27 Feb 1959, Mt. Carmel Christian Church, Walters, 
interred in Bethlehem Christian Church*, Altamahaw, Alamance Co., NC,

Bethlehem Christian Church was his former charge. 

His brother, Rev. Henry Ervin CRUTCHFIELD (1901 - 1982), former pastor of 
   Windsor Christian Church, is buried in the Holland Municipal Cemetery, 
   Nansemond Co.  Holland list, an extension of the Southampton County 
   Historical Society {SCHS} Cemetery Project:

Their parents, F. William & Ida (BENSON) CRUTCHFIELD, are buried in
