BARMAH GRAY CARROLL 

B.G. CARROLL DIES AT HOME 

  Mr. Barmah Gray Carroll died at his residence near Smithfield, Va., Tuesday 
afternoon at 1:30 o'clock after an illness of nearly three months.  He was the 
son of the late Algenon F. and Arlanna Virbinia Carroll.

  He is survived by three sisters, Misses Mamie and Arie Carroll, and Mrs. 
Mattie A. Barlow, and three brothers, Walter A., R. Milton, and George W. 
Carroll.

  Burial services were conducted at Mill Swamp Cemetery, Wednesday afternoon 
by the Rev. L. F. Paulette, pastor of the Smithfield Baptist Church.

  Active pallbearers were Elmo Batten, Willie Stallings, Sam Key, Willie Bell, 
John Little, Tom Delk, E.F. Lytte and Hyden Ramsey; honorary, R.L. Harrell, 
Guy Betts, R.D. Crocker, Sam White, G.A. Gwaltney, Sr., H.G. Barlow, J.J. 
Holleman, Dr. E.B. Ramsey, Rob Stallings, R.W. Stallings, C.H. Barlow, W.N. 
Barlow, A.H. Holleman, G.W. Delk, J.B. Taliaferro, S.L. Gwaltney, W.N. Nurney, 
C.H. Nurney, Lee Brittle, Joe Gale, Charlie Ramsey, Smith Lane, O.G. Brock and 
H.C. Haverty.
