LAURA CARROLL WILL BE BURIED TODAY, JAN. 31ST Funeral services for Mrs. Laura Bell Carroll, Jr., who died Tues., Jan. 29, 1957 at the home of her sister, Mrs. James A. Minton, Pagan Pines, Smithfield, will be conducted Thursday, Jan. 31st at 2:30 p.m. at the Smithfield Baptist Church by Rev. Warren Francis Taylor, pastor, assisted by the Rev. F.H. Fitzgerald. The body will be taken from the Bullock Funeral Home to the Church one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the Mill Swamp Cemetery. A member of Moores Swamp Baptist Church, she was a native of Surry County and had lived in Smithfield for the past six years. She was the daughter of Mrs. Lottie Jones Bell and the late William P. Bell. Besides her husband and sister she is survived by one daughter, Laura Elaine Carroll of Smithfield; two sisters, Mrs. William Vaughan of Petersburg and Miss Mary E. Bell of Elberon, three brothers, Henry Bell of Newport News; Charles L. Bell of Elberon and Nick Bell of Smithfield. Laura (BELL; Mrs. Harry C.)
