Crumpler Crewe, Jan. 23. - Irvin Edward Crumpler, age 49, employe [sic] of the Norfolk & Western Railway for more than 25 years, died suddenly here this morning. Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. J.A. Redd and Mrs. C.C. Redd, of Windsor, and Mrs. Mamie Powell, of Waters [sic; Walters]; one brother, J.E. Crumpler, of Windsor, several nieces and nephews. He was a member of Purdie Lodge 170, A.F. and A.M., Windsor. The body will be taken to the home of Mrs. Redd in Windsor Sunday. Funeral services will be conducted Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock at Collosse [sic; Colosse] Baptist Church.
