Death Of E. R. Davis 

  E.R. Davis, of Courtland, died Wednesday afternoon, May 23, in the 59th 
year of his age at Lakeview Hospital, Suffolk, from injuries sustained in an 
automobile truck accident Wednesday morning on the Courtland-Sebrell road. 
Mr. Davis was woods foreman for B.B. Rogers' mill and was driving a truck 
loaded with logs when it left the road, turned over, pinning him under the 
truck.  He is survived by his wife and four daughters.  Funeral services 
conducted at Antioch Christian Church, Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock.
