HENRY GRADY DAVIS

   BATTERY PARK - Henry Grady Davis, 72, a retired painter, died July 15, in 
a Richmond hospital.

   Mr. Davis, a native of Georgia, was a member of Battery Park Baptist 
Church.  He was a World War II Army veteran.

   Survivors include his wife, Margaret Winder Davis; a daughter, Elizabeth 
J. McNiel of Sicklerville, N.J.; a son, Edward W. Hontz of Hampton; a sister, 
Louise D. Gill of Newton, Ga.; and two grandchildren.

   The funeral was conducted Friday in Battery Park Baptist Church by the 
Rev. Wendell Sodegren.  Burial was in St. Luke’s Memorial Park, Isle of Wight 
County.
