Luther Davis Dies In Nansemond Home 

  Luther B. Davis, aged 57 years, died yesterday afternoon at his home near 
Lake Prince.  He leaves a wife and nine children, J.T. Davis, O.L. Davis, 
C.B. Davis, H.J. Davis, L.G. Davis, Mrs. E.T. Story, of Branchville, Mrs. J.W. 
Johnson, of Sedley, Mrs. G.T. Johnson, of Chuckatuck, and Miss Vida Z. Davis. 

  He leaves a father, J.I. Davis, of China Grove, N.C., and one sister, Mrs. 
W.R. Seaford, of Salisbury, N.C., and fourteen grandchildren. 

  Funeral will be held on Tuesday at 11 o'clock at Antioch Church.  Burial in 
church cemetery.

His step-mother Beulah Thomas (BEARD RUMPLE) DAVIS is buried in

   They are buried in Rosemont Cemetery, Sedley.
