Holland and Sons Funeral Home by the Rev. James Luck and the Rev. Edwin C. Thornton, Jr. Burial was in Colosse Church Cemetery. Duck died Sunday in Louise Obici Memorial Hospital, Suffolk, after a brief illness. A native of Isle of Wight County, he was a son of John W. and Mrs. Gertie* Turner Duck and the husband of Mrs. Mary Coggsdale Duck. He was a member of Colosse Baptist Church and was a retired watchman of Union Camp Corp. Besides his widow, surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Eldridge Pope of Carrsville, Mrs. L.C. Cutchins and Mrs. D.C. Blythe of Franklin, and Mrs. Bob Walker of Littleton, N.C.; two sons, Linwood Duck of Carrsville and Bennie Duck of Holland; and 12 grandchildren.
