Holland and Sons funeral home by the Rev. Edwin C. Thornton of Beaver Dam Baptist Church and the Rev. Donald Trump. Burial was in Colosse Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Lonnie McClenny, Elton, Stevens, Johnnie Stevens, Lloyd Duck, Wayland Perry, Edward Lankford, Churchill Glover and Chesley Mumford. Duck, 84, a native of Isle of Wight County and a retired farmer, died Monday at 3:45 p.m. in his home. He was a member of Colosse Baptist Church. He was a son of John and Mrs. Betty Turner Duck. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Callie Turner Duck; a daughter, Mrs. Lillie Marie Lankford, and a son Ryland Duck, both of Carrsville; a brother, Benjamin Duck of Franklin; four grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
