HENRY PRENTIS DUCK 

   CARRSVILLE - Henry Prentis Duck, 68, well-known retired business man, died 
Thursday [sic; Tuesday] night in Raiford Memorial Hospital after an illness 
of several months.

   He was the husband of Mrs. Florence Kamerly Duck and the son of the late 
Jesse Parker Duck and Mrs. Sarah Rawls Duck.

   He was a member of the Beaver Dam Church and Men’s Bible Class.

   Besides his wife he is survived by two sons, Henry Parker Duck of 
Carrsville, and Roy C. Duck of Franklin; three grandchildren and one great-
grandchild.

   Funeral services were conducted today (Thursday) at 2 p.m., at the Holland 
Funeral Chapel by his pastor, the Rev. Edwin C. Thornton, Jr.  Burial was in 
Colosse Cemetery, Isle of Wight County.

   Pallbearers were John Edward Rose, Jr., Jack Duke, S.P. Eason, Robert 
Houle, William H. Rose, Kenneth Duffy and J.J. Bradshaw, Jr.
