All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ MILDRED BRADSHAW DAUGHTREY Mrs. Mildred Bradshaw Daughtrey, 30, wife of Jasper Daughtrey, Jr., of Carrsville, died early Thursday morning, March 27, after suffering a heart attack at her home. She was taken to Raiford Memorial Hospital but died in the emergency room shortly after arriving there. Mrs. Daughtrey was the daughter of Aubrey E. and Martha Carr Bradshaw of Zuni. She was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church. Besides her husband and parents she is survived by a month-old daughter, Janet Marie Daughtrey of Carrsville; a brother, Aubrey E. Bradshaw, Jr., of Norfolk; and a sister, Mrs. Roy Tomlin of Carrsville. Last rites for Mrs. Daughtrey were conducted at Beaver Dam Church on Saturday afternoon at 3 o’clock by the pastor, Rev. Edwin C. Thornton, assisted by Rev. T.T. Traynham, pastor of the Franklin Presbyterian Church. Interment was in the church cemetery. Active pallbearers were Edward Darden, John F. Duke, Jr., Elliott Johnson, Edward M. Kinney, C.L. Miles, J.C. Rose, Jr., J.E. Rose, Jr., and J.D. Wright.
