Daughtrey Suffolk, Dec. 14. - Miss Marjorie Priscilla Daughtrey, prominent woman of Isle of Wight County and for the past 15 years a member of the faculty of Carrsville High School, died today at the home of her mother, after a short illness. Funeral services will be conducted at Beaver Dam Baptist Church Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, by Rev. H.T. Garland Moore, and the Rev. W.B. Denson. Burial will be in the church cemetery. ****************************************************************************** MISS MARJORIE P. DAUGHTREY Miss Marjorie Priscilla Daughtrey, prominent woman of Isle of Wight County and for the past 15 years a member of the faculty of Carrsville High School, died Saturday at the home of her mother, after a short illness. She was an active member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church and was widely known for her interest in civic and religious affaris of her county. Besides her mother, she is survivevd by four sisters, Mrs. Fred Corbitt, Mrs. Edgar B. Stephenson and Mrs. Frank Jones of Isle of Wight County, and Miss Blanche Daughtrey, of Franklin; two brothers, Miss Algie Daughtrey of Norfolk, and Edgar [sic; Edward] D. Daughtrey of Franklin. Funeral services were conducted at Beaver Dam Baptist Church on Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock by Rev. H.T. Garland Moore, and the Rev. W.B. Denson. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
