NANCY BELL DASHIELL

   SMITHFIELD - Nancy Bell Dashiell, 82, of the 100 block of Sykes Court, a 
retired school teacher, died Feb. 14, in a Newport News hospital.

   Miss Dashiell, a native of Isle of Wight County, had retired from Isle of 
Wight County public schools.  She was a member of Trinity United Methodist 
Church and a 1926 graduate of Longwood College.

   She is survived by a sister, Sara D. Stark of Greenville, N.C.

   The graveside service was held Monday in Ivy Hill Cemetery by the Revs. 
Robert F. Colfield Jr. and Rufus H. Stark.  Colonial Funeral Home handled the 
arrangements.  Memorial donations may be sent to Ivy Hill Cemetery or to the 
Isle of Wight County Rescue Squad.
