DEANS, JR., DIES IN RICHMOND Suffolk, June 22 - News was received in Suffolk today of the death in Richmond of Parke P. Deans, Jr., young son of Mr. and Mrs. Parke P. Deans. The boy had frequently visited in Suffolk with his father, and the news of his death came as a shock to the Suffolk friends of the Governor’s secretary, and former Representative from Isle of Wight. Parke P. Deans, Jr. was about fifteen years of age, and was a popular youth in his home town, Windsor, Va., where he was a student at the Windsor High School, remaining there until he finished the term, and then joining his father in Richmond. He is a grandson of Mr. and Mrs. T.J. Saunders, of Everett, Nansemond County. Relatives in Windsor and in Nansemond County hurried to Richmond today on the arrival of the sad news. The body will be brought down from Richmond Friday, and will be taken to Churchland, Va., for interment in the family cemetery. The services will be held at 1:30 o’clock.
