DUNSTON IS DEAD AT WINDSOR Prominent Citizen and Farmer Dies In Isle of Wight County Last Night After Short Illness of Pneumonia T.J. Dunston, 68, prominent citizen and farmer residing near Windsor, Va., died last night at his home at 8:15 o'clock of pneumonia. Mr. Dunston had been ill for something over three weeks. Besides his wife he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Jasper Oliver of Suffolk, and Mrs. James H. [sic; A.] Johnson of Carrsville, and two grandsons, Jasper Oliver, Jr., of Suffolk, and A. Dunston Johnson, who is a junior at William and Mary College, Funeral services will be held at Western Branch Baptist Church of which he was a deacon, on Saturday afternoon at three o'clock, conducted by the Rev. J. Sidney Cobb. ******************************************************************************* Suffolk, April 10 - T.J. Dunston, 69, prominent farmer of Isle of Wight County, residing near Windsor, died at his home tonight at 8:15 o'clock. He was a deacon in Western Branch Baptist Church. Besides his wife, Mr. Dunston is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Jasper Oliver, of Suffolk, and Mrs. James A. Johnson, of Carrsville, and two grandsons, A. Dunston Johnson, of William and Mary College, and Jasper Oliver, Jr., of Suffolk. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock at Western Branch Baptist Church, was a deacon in Western Branch Baptist Church. with the Rev. J.S. Cobb officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. ******************************************************************************* Suffolk, April 14 - Funeral services for T.J. Dunston, who died at his home near Windsor Thursday night, were held Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock at Western Branch Baptist Church by the Rev. J. Sidney Cobb, assisted by a former pastor, the Rev. C.P. Rymand, of Washington, and Dr. H.J. Goodwin, of Suffolk. A large gathering of friends were present and there were many floral offerings. Burial was in the church cemetery. Active pallbearers were A.C. Johnson, P.C. Bradshaw, of Crewe; A.S. Johnson of Smithfield; Sherman Roberts, Shady Roberts, Milton Johnson, J.T. Bradshaw and John L. Johnson. Deacons of Western Branch Church and friends of the family were honorary pallbearers.
