Duncan, Prominent Electrical Engineer of Isle of Wight County, Dies Suddenly Last Night. John B. Duncan, aged 62 years, a very prominent citizen of Zuni, Va., died very suddenly at his home Thursday night at 7:55 o'clock. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Myrtle Duncan, one son, Lewis Duncan, both of Zuni, Va.; two sisters, Mrs. J.O. Mitchell, of Roanoke; Mrs. Maggie Van Miller, of Johnson City, Tenn.; one half-sister, Miss Effie Duncan, of Saltville, Va., and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Duncan has been employed by the Norfolk & Western Railroad Company for the past thirty-one years as electrical engineer. The funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at Antioch Christian Church conducted by the Rev. White, Dr. W.D. Harwood, and the Rev. V.L. Fisher. Interment will be made in the church cemetery.
