DANIELS, 74, BURIED TUESDAY William Joseph Daniels, 74, died at his home in Carrollton at 11:20 p.m. Sunday night after a long illness. Mr. Daniels, who was a prominent merchant and farmer, was a member of the Oak Grove Methodist Church and White Swan Tribe No. 82 Redmen. Besides his wife, Maunie Bassett Daniels, he is survived by two sons, L.A. and W.N. Daniels of Carrollton; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Tucker and Mrs. James Watson of Newport News, three grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services were held at the Bullock Funeral Home Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 conducted by Rev. C. Ralph Arthur and the Rev. Otis L. Gilliam. Burial was in Old St. Lukes Cemetery.
