He was the husband of the Mrs. Catherine Carr Darden and son of W.W. and Mrs. Catherine Parker Darden of the Carrsville community. He was a member of the Colosse Baptist Church. Besides his wife and parents he is survived by one son, A.C. Darden, Jr., of Carrsville; three sisters, Mrs. R.T. Harrison of Carrsville, Mrs. W.S. Barrett of Windsor, and Mrs. J.A. Cobb of Newport News. Funeral services were conducted Thursday afternoon at three o’clock at the Colosse Baptist Church by the pastor, Rev. Jack E. Boyles, and burial was in the church cemetery.
