LULA MAE PRICE DARDEN

   FRANKLIN - A funeral service for Lula Mae Price Darden, 73, was held 
Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Wright Funeral Home, by the Revs. Richard Peerey 
and Henry Copeland.  Burial was in Beaver Dam Church Cemetery.

   Mrs. Darden died Sunday in Southampton Memorial Hospital.

   A native of Pamplin, she was the wife of Mills W. Darden.

   She was a member of Boaz Presbyterian Church.

   Other survivors include a daughter, Carolyn D. Tomlin of Carrsville; 
a son, William Ivan Darden of Suffolk; a brother, William Howard Price 
of Chicago; and three grandsons.
