Curtis Hoffman, pastor of Colosse Baptist Church and Rev. Len B. Allen, pastor of Black Creek Baptist Church. Mr. Drewry died Thursday, October 25, in Obici Memorial Hospital, Suffolk, after a short illness. He was the son of the late Robert and Martha Turner Drewry of Southampton County. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Elsie Vick Drewry of Walters; two daughters, Mrs. Mattie D. Cox, of Portsmouth and Mrs. Gladys Zimmer of New York; 10 grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Minnie Turner of Zuni. Active pallbearers were Cassie Turner, Lloyd Duck, Judith Stephens, Melvin Spivey, Russell Carr, Willie Carr and Lonnie Carr.
