WALTER H. EVERETT 

  Walter H. Everett died Sunday February 20 at 11:30 o'clock after a long 
illness.  He is survived by his mother, Mrs. J.J. Everett, 5 brothers, J.W., 
H.M, J.A., G.W. and R.L. Everett; two sisters, Mrs. R.L. Everett [sic*] of 
Norfolk and Mrs. W.H. Reid of Carrollton, Va.

  Funeral services were held Monday at 3 o'clock in the Old St. Luke's 
Cemetery, the Rev. Fletcher of Benn's Church officiating.

  There were many floral tributes.

His parents, John J. & Sarah Elizabeth (CROCKER) EVERETT, & sister 
   Lillie B. (Mrs. Willie H.) REID, are buried in the adjacent

*Their sister was Emma C. (EVERETT BRIDGER; Mrs. Richard) MUNFORD. 
   She is buried in Central Hill Baptist Church Cemetery (GSSTF #56). 
   A photo of Emma, circa 1940, and one of her marker, are posted 
   with her Find a Grave Memorial, #62884929.  Her surname was 
   mis-spelled "Mumford" in Lillie's obit.
