Edwards Bethany Methodist Church has sustained a great loss with the passing of one of its most faithful members, Mrs. J.H. Edwards. Her many friends in the church and Woman's Society of Christian Service will remember her as a true and faithful follower of Christ in daily living as well as in the various activities of the church and its affiliated organizations. Her Christian work will be missed more in the C.W.C.S. than in other phases of church work since she was President of the organization for several years during which time she proved to be an active leader with no limit on time and effort to make the Society a spiritual success. Her home was ever open to any and all meetings of the various church organizations. Loved by all who knew her and to all a friend, she can only be remembered as one whose life wasso lived as to fit her mind and heart for a place in the Eternal Mansions created by One whose power and understanding is so far superior to that of man. We quote from Tennyson's "King Arthur", "The Old Order Changeth, Yielding Place to New. God works in Mysterious Ways, His Wonders to Perform". - By Marvin R. Thomas, Church School Superintendent.
