Edwards will be conducted tomorrow at 3:30 p m. in Woodland Methodist church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be taken from the Bullock Funeral Home to the church at 1:30 p.m. Mr. Edwards, 71, died Sunday night in the Veteran's hospital, Kecoughtan, after a long illness. A farmer, he was a lifelong resident of Isle of Wight County. He was a member of Woodland Methodist church, a veteran of World War I, and member of George F. Dashiell Post 49, American Legion. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Cora Griggs Edwards; two daughters, Mrs. J. William Lawrence of Norfolk and Mrs. Doris Perry of South Norfolk; a son, Willie G. Edwards of Isle of Wight County; his stepmother, Mrs. Clara Edwards of Isle of Wight County; three sisters, Mrs. L.M. Parr of Hopewell, Mrs. Charlie Boothe of Carrsville and Mrs. George Murphy of Carrollton; three brothers, Sidney B. Edwards of Isle of Wight County, William J. Edwards of Smithfield and Ralph J. Edwards of Norfolk; and four grandchildren.
