George Edwards Sr. 

  WINDSOR - George Robert Edwards Sr., 80, of Rt. 1, Box 1115, died Sept. 16, 
1966 in his home.  A native of Isle of Wight County, he was the son of the 
late George Robert Edwards and Mrs. Novella Marshall Edwards. 

  He was a retired farmer and a member of Windsor Christian Church. 

  Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Madeline Sandlin Edwards; two daughters, 
Mrs. Barbara E. Duck of Hampton and Mrs. Ida E. Hollowell of Suffolk; two 
sons, G.R. "Bobby" Edwards Jr. of Windsor and Frederick M. Edwards of 
Chesapeake; one sister, Mrs. Mabel E. Twiford of Virginia Beach; 12 
grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. 

  Graveside services will be conducted Thursday at 3 p.m. in Antioch Christian 
Church Cemetery, Windsor, by the Rev. Eddie A. Walker.  Sidney F. Harrell 
Funeral Home, Suffolk, is handling arrangements.  The family will be at the 
home of G.R. "Bobby" Edwards, Rt. 1, Box 1110, Windsor.
