           Mrs. Sarah A. Edwards. 
      (Special to The Times-Dispatch.) 

  Windsor, Va., March 2.- Mrs. Sarah A. Edwards, wife of Charles Edwards, of 
this place, died this morning.  The funeral will be conducted at the Methodist 
Church on Tuesday at 3 o'clock by the pastor, Rev. J. L. Pribble, assisted by 
Rev. J.L. King, of the Baptist Church.

  Mrs. Edwards was a Miss Bracy, of Nansemond County*, and was married twice. 
Her first husband was James W. Womble, who died during the War Between the 
States.  There were two children by this marriage - Mrs. Fannie Womble Batten, 
of Windsor, Va., and the late James Dixie Womble, of Chesterfield County.

  The children by her last marriage are Mrs. Mattie C. Joyner, of Isle of 
Wight; Charles D. Edwards of Newport News and Lilburn D. Edwards of Brodnax, 
Va.  She was eight-five years old.
