Eley, 71, Of Carrsville, Died October 6 Richard Edwin Eley, 71, retired farmer, died at his home at Carrsville Thursday, October 6, 1960, after a long illness. He was a lifelong resident of Carrsville, son of Mills Everett and Mrs. Mary Ann Whitfield Eley of Isle of Wight County. He was a number of Beaver Dam Baptist Church and a veteran of World War I. Surviving are one brother, Willie H. Eley, and one sister, Miss Mary G. Eley, both of Carrsville; one niece, Miss Audrey E. Duke of Carrsville; and one nephew, Ray Eley Duke of Suffolk.
