He was the husband of Mrs. Fannie Bell Maynard Fulgham and son of the late John A. Fulgham and Mrs. Janie Rawles Fulgham. A native of Southampton County, he was a retired 40-year mail carrier for the postal department. He was a member of Windsor Christian Church and the Baraca Class and a honorary member of the Ruritan Club. He was a 50-year member of Blackwater Masonic Lodge No. 134, 50-year member of the Purdie Masonic Lodge No. 170 and district instructor of Masonic District No. 31. Besides his wife, he is survived by one sister, Mrs. Linda Fulgham Spivey of Chesapeake; and one brother, John Rawles Fulgham of Windsor. A funeral service will be conducted at 4 p.m. Saturday in the Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home by the Rev. G. Arthur Knauer.
