Rites were conducted at the Francis A. Gay Funeral Home at 3 o'clock. Burial was at Antioch Church cemetery. ****************************************************************************** Mrs. Janie Fulgham Native of Ivor, Buried Sept. 8th Mrs. Janie Rawls [sic; Rawles] Fulgham, 74, a native of Ivor, who had lived in South Norfolk five years, died Tuesday night, September 6th at 8:30 o'clock at a Norfolk Hospital [sic*]. She was a daughter of Charles Randall and Lucy Norfleet Rawls, of Ivor, and wife of the late John A. Fulgham. Before coming to South Norfolk she had lived in Windsor for a great many years. She was a member of the Windsor Christian Church and the Suffolk Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Vernon H. Spivey of South Norfolk; two sons, C.E. Fulgham and J.R. Fulgham, both of Windsor; a sister, Mrs. W.L. Cooper, of Norfolk; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Thursday at 3 P.M. at the Gay Funeral Home and interment was in Antioch Churchyard near Windsor.
