She was the daughter of the late James Randolph and Sallie Elizabeth Fowler of Isle of Wight County. The deceased was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church and an employee of the Planters Nut and Chocolate Company of Suffolk. She is survived by one brother, P.H. Fowler of Hopewell, and four sisters, Mrs. E.T. Sutherlin of Danville, Mrs. J.C. Johnson of Suffolk, and Misses Miriam and Jessie Fowler of Norfolk. She is survived also by several nieces and nephews. Funeral rites were conducted Thursday afternoon at 3 o’clock at Beaver Dam Baptist Church by the pastor, Rev. E.C. Thornton, followed by burial in the church cemetery. Active pallbearers were Ray Worrell, Dallas Minton, Horace Fowler, Johnny March, R.L. Miles and Simon Saunders. Honorary pallbearers were members of the Men’s Bible class of Beaver Dam Church.
