Rites Held For John Faircloth 

  SUFFOLK, July 10. - Funeral services for John Lankford Faircloth were 
conducted at the R.W. Baker Funeral Home yesterday at 3 p.m.  Rev. Edward 
Harvey conducted. 

  The pall was of Easter lilies, white carnation, and peach gladioli.  Mrs. 
Catherine Gayle sang "The Word of Truth" and "Blessed Elon." 

  Acting pallbearers were Arthur Norsworthy, B.T. Benton, Calvin Benton, R.B. 
Bush, and Dudley Austin. 

  Burial was in Whitehead's Grove Cemetery, Isle of Wight County.

They m. 24 Aug 1903 in Newport News.  The IoW.Co. M.Reg. (#68) gives John, 
   b. Sussex Co., & Cora D., b. Nansemond Co. 

Cora 2m. Oliver Marion HAVERSTOCK 9 Nov 1955 in Hopewell (#100); they div. in 
   1957.  She is buried in Holly Lawn Cemetery, Suffolk.
