Baker Funeral Home yesterday at 3 p.m. Rev. Edward Harvey conducted. The pall was of Easter lilies, white carnation, and peach gladioli. Mrs. Catherine Gayle sang "The Word of Truth" and "Blessed Elon." Acting pallbearers were Arthur Norsworthy, B.T. Benton, Calvin Benton, R.B. Bush, and Dudley Austin. Burial was in Whitehead's Grove Cemetery, Isle of Wight County.
