RICHARD HILLARY GOODE 

R.H. GOODE, 74, BURIED DEC. 10TH 

  Richard Hillary Goode, 74, died December 8th in a local hospital after a 
long illness.  He was a native and lifelong resident of Mecklenburg County.

  The body was taken to the Bullock Funeral Home where services were held 
Tuesday at 3 p.m.  Burial was in the Ivy Hill Cemetery in Smithfield.

  Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Rose of Kilmarnock; Mrs. W.T. 
Brankley, Charles City; Mrs. John J. Ramos, Smithfield; Mrs. Martha 
Bellizze, Fairview, N.J.; Mrs. G. Toritto, West New York, J.N. and Mrs. G. 
Hoyt of Imola, Calif.; two sons, H.M. Goode of Waterford, Canada and Worrie 
Goode, New Mexico; two sisters, Mrs. R.C. Welton and Mrs. R.P. Byrd of 
Richmond and a brother T.T. Goode of Richmond.
