Mrs. SALLIE E. GODWIN 

Mrs. Sallie E. Godwin died in Isle of Wight county Saturday morning.  She 
leaves three daughters and one son in this city, Mrs. A.B. Abbitt, Mrs. C.A. 
Hogge, and Miss Carrie Godwin, and Mr. S.W. Godwin.  The deceased was 69 
years old.  Heart trouble caused her death. 


Sallie E. (Mrs. Jonathan) GODWIN, 
d. 28 Oct 1905, Isle of Wight Co., age circa 69*, 
"The Daily Press" (Newport News, VA), Nov. 1, 1905 

Additional information: 

*1880 Census gives age 43; 1900, age 60, b. Feb 1840. 

Location of burial not known (June 2015) to the Isle of Wight County 
   Historical Society {IWCHS} Grave Site Survey Task Force {GSSTF}, 
   nor the Southampton County Historical Society {SCHS} Cemetery Project.
