MRS. LIZZIE KELLY GOODRICH 

SMITHFIELD 

DEATH - 

     (Special to Virginian-Pilot.) 

  Smithfield, Va., April 12. - The shadow of death rested on the home of one 
of our citizens Saturday morning, Mrs. Lizzie Kelley Goodrich, wife of Mr. 
Ernest Goodrich, being called from earth to heaven at that time.  Mrs. 
Goodrich was a most estimable lady, and her death will be greatly lamented 
by a wide circle of friends.  The funeral was held from Christ Episcopal 
Church, of which the deceased was a devout communicant, by Rev. F.G. Scott, 
assisted by Rev. Mr. Jolliff, of the Methodist Church, and the remains were 
tenderly laid to rest in Ivy-Hill Cemetery, to await the resurrection of the 
just.  The sympathy of the entire community goes out to the bereaved husband.

The cemetery list gives ELIZABETH KELLY GOODRICH, wife of O.C. GOODRICH, 
   b. 10 Apr 1870.  Her husband (1860-1928) shares a marker with his 
   second wife.

Flossie A. Bradshaw, age 29 (b. ca. 1875), dt/o B.W. and Indianna Bradshaw 

The IoW.Co. M.Reg. {BVS copy} (1904 #135) actually gives:  
E. Carroll Goodrich, sn/o O.C. and A. Pedin [Goodrich], farmer 

Ernest's father, Octavius C. Goodrich, 1m. 24 Nov 1856 Adelaide J. Pedin. 
   He 2m. 9 Jul 1878 Ida Wright; they are also buried in Ivy Hill. 

Flossie's father, Benjamin Walter BRADSHAW, is buried (unmarked?) in 
   Cedar Hill Cemetery, Suffolk.
