ALMA THOMAS GALE 

MRS. ALMA T. GALE DIED AUG. 10TH IN HAMPTON 

  Mrs. Alma Thomas Gale, 58, died unexpectedly August 10th at the home of her 
sister, Mrs. G.B. Latimer of Hampton. 

  A native of Isle of Wight County, she was a member of Whitehead's Grove 
Baptist Church. 

  Besides Mrs. Latimer, she is survived by her husband, Clarence W. Gale, and 
a son J.T. Gale both of Portsmouth; three other sisters, Mrs. O.S. Owen, Mrs. 
W.S. Blackwell, both of Carrollton, and Mrs. Ida Schmidt of Crittenden, and 
two brothers, O.P. Thomas of Newport News and G.D. Thomas of Hampton. 

  Funeral services were conducted at the chapel of the Bullock Funeral Home 
Friday at 3 p.m. by Rev. Victor B. Anthony, pastor of Benns Methodist Church. 
Burial was in St. Luke's Memorial Cemetery.
