GALE OF NEWPORT NEWS, BURIED MAY 5TH Mrs. Bessie Lowe Gale, 56, died Saturday, May 3, at her home in Newport News. Funeral services were held on Monday, May 5th at 1 p.m. at the Peninsula Funeral Home in Newport News, with burial in Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg. Surviving are a twin son and daughter, Frank L. Gale, Jr. of Green Cove Springs, Fla., and Miss Bessie Virginia Gale of Newport News; two brothers, David Lowe, of Battery Park, Va., and Edward Lowe of Norfolk, and five sisters, Mrs. Roland Meekins of Manteo, N.C.; Mrs. C.G. McCoy of Battery Park, and Mrs. A.S. Harden, Mrs. J.R. Swindell and Mrs. Levy Harden, all of Norfolk. Bessie May (LOWE; Mrs. Frank L.)
