All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ Retired Windsor Farmer Succumbs WINDSOR - Funeral rites will be held today for William Edwin Gray, II, 76, who died Friday night at Obici Hospital in Suffolk after an illness of several months. The body will be taken to Antioch Christian Church from W.J.M. Holland and Sons funeral home, Franklin for services at 3 p.m. Officiating will be the Rev. John W. Crocker, IV, pastor of the Yorktown Baptist Church, and the Rev. J. Sidney Cobb, retired Windsor pastor. Interment be in the church cemetery. Gray was a retired Windsor farmer and a life-long resident of Isle of Wight County. He was an active member of Antioch Christian Church. Gray was married twice, his first marriage was to Miss Maggie Edwards of Isle of Wight County, who died in 1949. His second marriage was to Miss Katie Sadler of Windsor, who survives him. Besides his wife, he is survived by sister, Mrs. Lizzie B. Turner of Walters, and a number of cousins.
