Griffin FRANKLIN, March 19 - Funeral services for Benjamin Clinton Griffin, 56, lifelong resident of Isle of Wight County, who died at his home on the Windsor-Smithfield Highway early Tuesday morning after a long illness, were held today at 3:30 p.m. at the W.J.M. Holland Sons Funeral Home. Officiating were the Rev. Ellis Clark, pastor of Antioch Christian Church, and the Rev. B.A. Riddle, pastor of Windsor Christian Church. Burial was in Windsor Cemetery. Mr. Griffin was the husband of Mrs. Delma Holland Griffin, of Windsor, and son of the late William Henry and Martha Ann Butler Griffin. Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Mills William Griffin; a daughter, Mrs. Frank Brown, both of Windsor; a brother, Walter H. Griffin, of Suffolk; two grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
