Mrs. Delma H. Griffin 

  WINDSOR - Mrs. Delma Lee Holland Griffin, 78, died Thursday at 12:30 p.m. 
in a Suffolk hospital. 

  A native of Isle of Wight County, she was a daughter of Mills Thomas and 
Mrs. Anna Belle Carr Holland and the widow of Benjamin C. Griffin. 

  She was a member of Antioch Christian Church. 

  She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Frank L. Brown of Windsor; three 
sisters, Mrs. George H. Batten and Mrs. Blanche Braswell of Windsor, and 
Mrs. W.W. Hedgepeth of Nansemond; three grandchildren; and four great-
grandchildren. 

  A funeral service will be conducted Saturday at 3:30 p.m. in I.O. Hill and 
Co. Funeral Home, Suffolk, by the Rev. H.B. Fisher.  Burial will be in 
Windsor Cemetery.
