Buried Sunday Mrs. Hattie Turner Griffin, 69, of Windsor, wife of Walter Henry Griffin, died at her home Friday afternoon after a long illness. Mrs. Griffin was a daughter of Andrew J. Griffin and Fannie Jones Turner. Surviving, other than her husband, are two sons, William Curtis Griffin, of Denver, Col.; two daughters, Doris Griffin Gay of Windsor, and Martha Griffin Brinkley of Portsmouth; and eight grandchildren. The body was removed to the Jones Funeral Home. Funeral services were conducted at 3:30 P.M. at the Pine Grove Assembly of God by the Rev. Kent Reckley, pastor, the Rev. Kelly Wingfield, of South Norfolk, and the Rev. H.B. Jones of Surry. Burial was in Antioch Church Cemetery. The pallbearers were Oliver Atkins, Roy Slye, David Jones, Pete Jones, Jack Uzzell and Morrison Holland. Hattie Lenora (TURNER; Mrs. Walter H.)
