MARTHA S. GRIFFIN

   Suffolk, Oct. 16 - Mrs. Martha Griffin, wife of H.W. Griffin, died this 
morning at 11 o’clock at her home near Windsor.

   Besides her husband she is survived by the following children: Mrs. A.C. 
Hingerty of Suffolk; Mrs. Maude Whitley, H.D. Griffin, Mrs. Mrs. R.L. Griffin, 
and  A.J. Griffin, all of Windsor; two sisters, Mrs. Ida Griffin and Mrs. 
William Bartlett; 17 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

   Funeral services will be held at Woodland Methodist Episcopal Church, Friday 
at 2:30 p.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The services will be 
conducted by the Rev. R.T. Clark, assisted by the Rev. R. V. Owen and Dr. N.G. 
Newman.
