William Griffin 

  William Curtis Griffin, 67, of 318 N. Main St. died Sunday in a Norfolk 
hospital. 

  He was a native of Isle of Wight County.  He was a merchant marine veteran 
of World War II and was a retired mechanic. 

  Survivors include a sister, Martha Brinkley of Richmond; and nieces and 
nephews. 

  The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Antioch Church Cemetery 
near Windsor by Dr. R.E. Brittle. 

  Purviance Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
