Burial will be in Antioch Christian Church Cemetery. Mr. Griggs, 56, of Route 2, Windsor, died Wednesday at 10:45 a.m. in Patrick Henry Hospital, after a long illness. A native of Isle of Wight County, he was a retired farmer. He was a son of Thaddeus and Mrs. Annie Holland Griggs. Surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Maude Braswell and Mrs. Cora Edwards of Windsor, Mrs. Ballie Gay of Zuni and Mrs. Ella Bassett of Chesapeake; and two brothers, Richard Griggs of Windsor and John T. Griggs of Chesapeake. ****************************************************************************** Griggs Rites Are Conducted Funeral services for Sidney Augustus Griggs, who died Wednesday, were conducted Friday at 2 p.m. in Hill Funeral Home by the Rev. L.R. Nease Jr., pastor of Providence Methodist Church. Burial was in Antioch Christian Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Leroy Gray, Herbert Gray, Tommy Griggs, Donald E. Griggs, Aubrey Griggs, Harvey Griggs, Willie G. Edwards and J.
