IRA BERRY GERALD

   SUFFOLK - A funeral service for Ira Berry Gerald, 67, was held Friday at 3 
p.m. in Beaver Dam Baptist Church by the Rev. Richmond Peerey.  Burial was in 
the church cemetery with Wright Funeral Home in charge.

   Pallbearers were: Mark Britt, Joe Britt, Ed Spivey, Franklin Padgett, Mike 
Dunn, Leory Padgett, Hunter Daughtrey and Elbert Ivey.

   Gerald died Tuesday.

   A native of Marion, S.C., he was the husband of Mrs. Ruth Britt Gerald.  He 
was retired from S.W. Rawls Corp. and was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist 
Church.

   Other survivors include a sister, Mrs. Gertrude Seigliner of Baltimore; and 
three brothers, Paul Gerald of Franklin, Herbert Gerald of Mullins, S.C., and 
Roy Gerald of Salisbury, Md.
